Every day the sky is blue
from the Dandelion School's students

To me, a normal migrant worker's child is not very special. My family isn't wealthy, and in a family like mine, I feel the pressure to pursue happiness for my entire family.

At the prior schools I attended, I didn't feel any pressure because the teachers were not strict with me, the studies were easy, and "play" became life's most important part. Then, I was constantly playing: in class, after class, after school, at home. This led me to develop a very bad habit. At that time, I had no idea what pressure was.

When I came here, the school changed everything about me. Because my family's conditions aren't good, the school contacted a kind person who would financially support me, which really touched me. I began to feel pressure; because of my parents and my teachers, I constantly remind myself to study hard so I can give back to them. This meant I had to get rid of my bad habits and put all my effort into my studies. Only by doing this can I be someone and give back to the people who have helped me in my life. This is my sincere exclamation. Maybe my learning is a long journey, but the only thing that will never change is that you once helped me when I had difficulties. "You have given me a drop of life-giving water; I will give back to you a fountain of water."

Maybe sometimes I let my guard down and forget the pressure. But my heart will never change. My promise will always be burning in my heart: to give back to all who have helped me. Not only them, but also my relatives.

The sky is still blue, the Earth is still turning, people are still discovering, but in the near future, there will be another person among those people: that would be me!

Thankful heart,

To solve the students' problems of their studies, New Path Endowment, college students, and caring people from all parts of society have given a lot. During the past semester, there were over two-hundred volunteers who came to tutor students on the weekends. The volunteers' hard work won the students' sincerest gratefulness.

Every day the sky is blue.

Today, the sun is shining, the school's campus is beautiful, the classrooms are bright, the tables and chairs are new, there is a good learning environment: all this is for us to have a happy time studying here.

You have sacrificed your vacation time to come here from all over the world to tutor us English so we'll never feel lost on the road to learning English. In the summer, we played games together and danced together. You have brought us much happiness. Thank you, volunteer!

You have squeezed time in your busy lives to come visit my school and train and teachus.Even though it's very hard, we have learned many things that are not found in textbooks: what is discipline, what is determination, and what is teamwork. You have built the foundation for us to walk towards the road to success. Thank you, liberation army!

Yesterday, you have given us boundless care. Today, we are turning that into strength for a bright future: it is your kindness that have given us a beautiful learning environment. You and us are family!
