(World
20 students and teachers from
Winchester High School of Massachusetts of America
visited Dandelion School in Beijing from June
21 to 28 of 2006. This is one activity of culture
exchange program between China and
America students, which is partially supported
by World Education.
During that week both Chinese and American students
had participated in rich & colorful activities
to learn each other and make friends. All of
them think that these days are the most memorable
days of their life. Followings are the deep
impression and appreciation of teachers and
students of Dandelion School:
Boundless Friendship

Boundless Friendship
Dandelion Middle School
Grade 7 Class 1 Teacher Yu Jing
After studying and living
with students and teachers of Winchester High
School for one week, American students and teachers
were leaving.
The night before they
left, students in our school kept science unusually.
Boys were helping them pack their stuffs, and
girls were asking me to bring them to buy some
fruits in order for the party the next day.
It was time to say goodbye.
During the party, we prepared various kinds
of fruits, but students in my class did not
eat even one piece. Instead, they gave our two
American friends a lot of watermelon. There
is a boy in my class who love eating named Wu
Wenlei. However faced so many fresh fruits,
he did not eat at all. I felt very sorry, so
I told him to eat one piece of watermelon and
picked a big one for him. He got it and gave
to an American student, Tai. Then he and Tai
hugged each other tightly. At that moment, all
the students cried silently.
The party supposed to
be filled with happiness was full of sadness
of leaving.
It sprinkled a little that night. It seemed
the God was moved by the boundless friendship
between American students and Chinese students.
The two American boys
hugged me tightly, and I was moved to cry that
moment.
