2006年3月3日，蒲公英中学胡副校长带各教研组长参观访问了北京京西学校，学习先进的教学理念和实践，开阔了眼界。事后京西学校聘请了航天科学家到蒲公英中学讲授航空科普知识。4月14日，京西学校家长委员会还为蒲公英中学捐送了150条崭新的床垫子，全校师生举行了欢迎仪式。以下是蒲公英中学的老师在参观访问京西学校时，拍摄的部分照片。

　　The teachers of Dandelion School visited Western Academy of Beijing (International School--Beijing, China) on March 3, 2006. Through visiting the School's teachers learnt a lot of advanced teaching notions and good practices. After that, Western Academy of Beijing sent an expert to give the popular science lecture on aviation for students of Dandelion School. Besides, the Parent Committee of Western Academy donated 150 new mattresses for Dandelion School.
